This is my first effort at creating a typeface from ground up, and my first deviation.
It is obviously inspired by the 'badge' faces on those big crazy cars being pumped out around america around the 1950's and 60's.
I was developed using TypeTool, [wish i had access to fontographer...] and submitted as part of multimedia studies at university.
In hindsight, after submission, im aware of a few things i could change to fix it up... leading needs to be a bit broader, and i think the stroke width should be a little thicker, with slightly broader sidebearings to reflect the change.
very interested to hear what anyone has to say about it.

I havent checked in here for ages, but i'm bored at work...
anyway, you asked if you could use the 'big-auto' typeface that i submitted last year.
For sure mate, use it on whatever you want. You dont have to credit the layout itself, but a mention somewhere would be nice. Send me a link if you use it for the web, i'de love to see it in action.
I'm gonna do some more. It's really time consuming, but its a pretty wacky science... i like it!
Cheers,
Jon
